I aspire to serve end-users and work closely with stakeholders to align product designs with business strategy.
EXPERIENCE
I began my career in education with the goal of learning how to better serve customers--educators, students, parents, etc. Joining Teach For America allowed me the opportunity to get a closer understanding of the pain points customers face and how to produce feasible solutions for them.
For over 9 years I received hands on experience as an educator in several different capacities:
• Teacher: Elementary School Students
• Program Coordinator: Elementary School Students + Middle School Students + Adult Learners
• Training Coordinator: Client Onboarding + Training Assistance
VALUES + SOFT SKILLS
• As a Kindergarten teacher in a Title 1 school I work with students with diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgrounds. Utilizing empathy allows me to feel the emotions of others and to look deeper into situations that affect their learning.
• I practice active listening skills by avoiding guiding the conversation, paying attention to body language, asking WHY questions and checking personal biases.
• I value my self-awareness and critical thinking skills. These skills help me to be reflective in my thought process, to think rationally, and to be honest about my strengths and

• To determine my strengths I participated in the Gallup CliftonStrengths 34 assessment. Of the 4 CliftonStrengths themes (Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building and Strategic Thinking) I lead in Relationship Building, meaning my skillsets are essential for holding a team together.

My top 10 strengths from the CliftonStrengths 34 assessment.
Highlights from my CliftonStrengths 34 report describe my strengths as:
"Instinctively you might be particularly willing to accept all individuals regardless of their appearance, education, social class, native language, religious preference, or political persuasion."
"You are thorough and conscientious. Through your natural anticipation and careful thought process, you know how to reduce risks and prevent problems from arising."
"You quickly weigh alternative paths and determine the best ones. Your natural ability to anticipate, play out different scenarios and plan ahead make you an agile decision-maker."
